Assessment
Every job starts with determining how far the contamination actually reached. Fluids move under flooring and behind trim, so the visible area is only a starting point.
Containment and removal
The work area is isolated so contamination is not tracked through the property. Porous materials that cannot be decontaminated — carpet, padding, subfloor, drywall, upholstered furniture — are removed.
Disinfection and odor treatment
Remaining hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. Odor treatment follows source removal; it is not a substitute for it.
